This hands-on workshop will teach you everything you need to know to grow your own food anywhere - in containers, your front yard, or an empty lot. You'll learn the basics of how to start seeds, how to maintain your plants, and when to harvest.

Participants will receive a free starter kit of vegetable seeds.  

About the Instructor:
Barrett Jones is a community gardener and educator who lives in the District of Columbia. Barrett has gardened at Common Good City Farm, City Blossom’s Marion Street Garden, and the Blair Road Community Garden.
