Join us to to ring in the New Year with a light installation by local artist Tommy Bobo. He will be turning the Rhizome house into a Lighthouse. Filling the interior with computer controlled flood lights that will simulate a giant spinning beacon from within the house.

Lighthouses has been used for over a millennium to help sailors navigate. "LightHouse" will be lit on one of the longest nights of the year to help us find our bearings as we enter 2019. What will "LightHouse" guide you towards a safe harbor, away from a rocky shore, or even beckon you home. The work is part of an ongoing series of beacons. An exploration of what can be communicated with simple lights.

There will be live music OUTDOORS featuring Sam McCormally and Will McKindley-Ward and others, along with hot drinks. Dress for the weather.
