The Animal Inside You is a fun and interactive experience for students to explore blind drawings, collages, sculptures, paintings, and jewelry making, focusing on our wild friends, the animals.

Students will learn from the Animal Inside You how to worry less. We will work freely and animalistic(ly), setting thoughts of mistakes and perfection off to the side and working from the gut. 

Let your thoughts guide you directly to work that is free, fun, and full of expression.  

About the instructor:
Jade Drakes is a Trinidadian Art Jeweler with a fondness for all things craft and animal, especially the dog. She was born in Venezuela of Trinidadian and Italian parentage. Jade draws her inspiration from nature, old shops that sell old things, old ladies, old men, museums, books - especially children's books, female contemporary artists, animals, insects, and conversation.
