Summer Camp - Mixed Arts (Session 1)

Each day participants will try out different traditional art materials from oil pastels to charcoal, and try out more unconventional mark makers like fruit juice and sticks. We will use the interior and exterior of Rhizome and sometimes the surrounding neighborhood to find subjects that inspire. One of the first projects will be to make a sketchbook from a variety of papers to log our daily experiences. We will look at things in the summer light to spark ideas and make new things - the rainbows in a sprinkler or soap bubbles floating past...

Ages 7-11 // June 24-28 // 1-4pm // $185 (includes all materials)
Students may bring lunch and combine morning and afternoon camps for a full day, 9-4pm.
