9am - noon
Cost: $150 (scholarships available)
Students may bring lunch and combine morning and afternoon camps for a full day, 9-4pm.
In this camp, we will study and create works of art using sound as the primary medium. Recorded sound, mechanical sound, incidental sound, imaginary sound -- the possibilities are just about endless! The beginning of the week will be focused on learning a bit about the field of sound art, and preliminary experiments; later in the week students will work toward creating their own sound-based artwork. Limited to 8 participants.
Email laynegarrett at yahoo.com with any questions or to reserve a space. ($50 deposit required.)
