Live Action Role Play is a combination of improv, theater, physical movement, crafts, and just about any genre of story you can think of! All are welcome to these 2-hour LARPs hosted at Rhizome DC, whether you're completely new to the artform or a seasoned veteran.

On Saturday, August 1 from 1-3 pm we're playing Monumental Consequence by Mary Beth Looney, where 9-40 players become villagers in the occupied town of La Ville who face an impossible choice: destroy their centuries-old church to save lives, or risk everything to preserve the art within. This game was developed by Central Michigan University Press and can be used for fun (like we will be doing) and as an educational tool in classrooms!
