Embodiment Workshop w/ alexis sāga & Chloe M

Wednesday February 14 * 7pm * $20-35 sliding scale - email for scholarship options * REGISTER

Join us on Valentine’s Day to pour into yourself with devotion. Explore the sensory, connect to the way your body comes alive through your presence in the safety of community.

This 2 hour workshop will help you find a path towards embodiment by exploring embodiment vs dis-embodiment, giving grace to self through practice, and creating tools to deepen your embodiment in daily life. Our intention is to help answer these questions:
1. What does it feel like to you when you feel embodied? What does it feel like when you feel dis-embodied?
2. What practices, activities, mantras, media, coping mechanisms do you gravitate towards/implement to create embodiment? What if embodiment feels far away, how do these practices shift?
3. Do you experience self judgment when struggling to feel embodied? How do you release judgment?
4. Do you find that ritual acts as a touch stone in connecting to your body? What rituals can you create to maintain stable embodiment?

These are some of the questions that will be explored in this workshop. It is encouraged that you ponder them regardless of whether you join the space in person. This is a thought provoking exercise so please know that it is ok if some or all of them are unanswerable.

This workshop will include:
guided breathwork and visual mediation
storytelling through movement
discussion and Q&A
Integration

Please bring a blanket or pillow to sit on the floor and a notebook and writing utensil. Feel free to bring a water bottle and small snacks as well.
