Concert: Tongue Depressor/Trevor Saint, Will Mk, Aether, Zof-e IDk

Thursday January 17 * 8pm * $10 * Tickets

Tongue Depressor and Trevor Saint
Tongue Depressor is the duo of Zach Rowden and Henry Birdsey - two quietly prolific artists working in New Haven, CT. As a duo these experimenters delve into long bouts of trance inducing microtonal drone, most typically on fiddles, but not exclusively.
Trevor Saint - Trevor Saint plays the glockenspiel. He performs the first solo works for the extended-range instrument, and improvises wildly with the instrument’s extreme offerings. Trevor performs in the duos Skewed and Such (Jeff Herriott, laptop) and Tanngrisnir (Christopher Burns, electric guitar), with the duo Tongue Depressor (Henry Birdsey/Zach Rowden, fiddles), and in the Ever Present Orchestra.

Will Mk
Will Mk (Sleeping Blood) is an experimental composer and improviser. He focuses on building songs by arranging fragments of harsh, percussive, and amusical sound. Will is based in Providence, and has been making music since the mid-90s as part of the DIY indie and punk communities in Cleveland, Kansas City, and Portland, Ore.

Aether (Lancaster, PA, currently based in Washington, DC) is noise from space concerning life on Earth. Audio emotional exploration through any and all means necessary.

Zof-e iDk
Harsh noise from your local Caffeine Dealer. Washington, DC.
