TALsounds (Hausu Mountain | Chicago, IL) is the lush, synthesizer-driven, ambient project of Natalie Chami (Goodwill Smith.) Equipped with an organic mix of ethereal loops and interstellar arpeggiation, Chami explores the vast light and darkness of the universe with a hauntingly beautiful vocal caress.

Marrying elements of experimental electronic music and contempo classical movements, Chicago's Matchess (Monofonus Press) aka Whitney Johnson weaves sonic narratives with moving effect. Somber one minute and triumphant the other, Johnson’s amalgamation of violin, tape manipulation, and minimal keys creates broken order among the ruins.

DC’s own modular wizard Zak Forrest performs “The Green Eye.” Blending a modular synthesis rig with projected laser accompaniment, Forrest’s unique approach to noise and visuals beguiles all who dare to enter the void.
